What you need to know: Miami is known as one of the most vibrant and energized cities in the world. Due to its sunny, warm weather year round, Miami’s streets are always a great place to photograph at all times of the day. South Beach is an iconic location that attracts locals as well as visitors from all over on a daily basis. We will focus most of our workshop around this exciting area. Starting at 2PM, we will have the opportunity to photograph in mid as well as late time of the day, taking advantage of the beautiful golden hour light Miami is well known for.

Megan Kwasniak is a physician and photographer who has been shooting as long as she has been taking care of people. She focuses her work on travel and street photography, including portraiture. She has been featured in The Guardian and exhibited her work in various places around the world, including Miami, Milan and Bulgaria. You can find more of her work on Instagram and her website
Sonia Goydenko is a NYC based street photographer. Her work has been published in various street photography mediums and exhibited internationally. In addition to photographing the streets daily, she teaches classes at ICP, holds private workshops and portfolio reviews and focuses her work on integrating photography and meditation. She is also known in her circles as a fantastic chess player.
